Post-secondary students: Apply by Aug 25 to work as our next Generator Intern.
CJSR is hiring for two positions in the CJSR News Department in the Fall 2017 semester. These positions are being offered through the Serving Communities Internship Program (SCiP), which provides interns with a $1000 bursary at the end of their project.
Applications due by 9 AM on Friday, August 25, 2016.
What’s it all about?
- Over the course of the fall semester, two Generator Interns will train new CJSR volunteers in the basics of making radio, and lead Generator, our news program incubator for new volunteers.
- One of the interns’ main tasks will be leading monthly news training, with the support of CJSR’s News Coordinator.
- The other task, leading Generator, will require the interns to give new volunteers a more hands-on, in-depth introduction into making a radio show.
