We’re recruiting a team of students who want to learn some sizzling podcasting skills this semester.

You’ll be part of a team of audio lovers creating an ongoing podcast series about queer and trans stories, news, and culture from Edmonton and beyond: CJSR’s GayWire.

You’ll learn how to find a distinctive style for a podcast, interview guests, edit, use music and sound, write a script, and host a show.

Orientation runs January 30 (10 AM – 3 PM) & 31 (10 AM – 12:30 PM) online over Zoom. Covid-19 safety is a priority for CJSR, so training and production will be conducted remotely. If conditions permit some in-person (distanced) activities, we’ll discuss it with the whole team beforehand to establish safe protocols.
