News Training

News Training is a two-part online workshop. Both sessions are mandatory to complete this training. Across these sessions, CJSR News Coordinator Meagan Miller will give you hands-on experience in:

Basics of Interviewing
Basics of Editing in Hindenburg
Recording in Studio B
Post-production
Writing for radio

By the end, you’ll have made a complete news story, and you’ll be able to present it on Generator, our new producer showcase!
